At around 4:50pm today (remember I'm in England so it's like 8 hours in front of you awesome American people) myself and my mother visited Sainsbury's. We're going to France for 2 weeks on Friday so we decided to buy some le treats for our holiday. As we are cheapskates, in the typical British way, we bought all the stuff that was on offer.
But me, being me, happened to notice something on the shelves. Something that was most definitely NOT on offer.
If you've read the title, you should be slightly aware as to what this thing was.
OH YEAH.
HOT CHOCOLATE.
Now, don't get me wrong, hot chocolate is good. But I just haven't been able to find a hot chocolate that was good enough for me to drink 3 mugs of it a day. Or, more precisely, in 5 hours. Eh, Cadbury's "drinking chocolate" is okay and all, but it's just not OMGTHISISSOGOODLETMEDRINKMOREPLEASE.
And, at only 60 FREAKING CALORIES per mug, this 'Options Indulgence' hot chocolate (but at £3.19 per thing, it's pretty darn expensive (I'd say around $5 for you awesome American people)) is just... superfluously necessary to my life.
(I think I used superfluous in the correct context, right?)
TO ADD TO THIS, seeing as this costs a whole three-effing-pounds I'm allowed to disallow my sisters from drinking it. Oh, and I should mention I paid for it myself with my own money. When my mum saw it in the shopping trolley, she said "No." and I promised I'd pay for it myself.
So I did.
